To rename database tables with phpMyAdmin, please do the following:
1. Select the database where the table exists.
2. Click the table you want to rename.
3. Click the “Operations” tab. Under “Table Options”, in the “Rename table to” section,
4. Enter a new name for the table, then click “Go”.
