Learning about the skeleton directory in WHM

Before watching the video, log in to your WebHost Manager account.

Now let’s learn about the skeleton directory.

Select the Account Functions section.

Then select Skeleton Directory.

In this directory you place the temporary home page for all accounts you create in WHM.

The temporary home page is the page users see in their browser until they create their own home page.

In this tutorial the main WHM account user name is demoreseller, and the skeleton directory is located here.

To change the temporary home page, simply upload the new page to the cpanel3-skel directory using an FTP client or File Manager.
